Welcome to this beautiful Tuesday family,
I found this beautiful definition of grace and could not wait to share it with you. The more I understand the essence of grace, the more I crave it. Yet, the constant pressure to perform, the pull of perfectionism, and my inner critic—my frenemy—often make grace feel unattainable.
I’m learning that grace is a mindset, a conscious decision that I have to make when I’m facing the giants of fear, failure, perfectionism, or doubt. I have to choose kindness, compassion, and understanding. For some of us, grace towards ourselves and others is a learned behavior, and that’s OK! We’ve normalized the voice of our critics so the soft, sweet sound of grace is often missed, but we can train ourselves to hear it, and, with practice, grace will become the louder voice.
As we continuously choose kindness, compassion and understanding, we’ll suddenly realize that grace has become our lifestyle, a consistent practice, a priority even. Choosing grace, not even daily, but momentarily, empowers us to silence the noise and cultivate compassion and peace.
All I know is .. ✨ I'm in my GRACE Era ✨
This season of my life is all about showing myself kindness, compassion, and forgiveness—especially in moments of imperfection.
Who’s with me? How will you show yourself grace in the next 30 minutes?
With Love,
Gwen
